BOnusWelt
Digital customer loyalty for travel agencies.
With the BOnusWelt, travel agencies create their own digital world of benefits for their customers – with their own name, their own logo and selected partner businesses. Discounts, extra services and special perks complement the travel booking and create touchpoints before and after the holiday.
The concept was developed by BoTravel. Travel Token Marketplace (TTM) provides the technical foundation for managing, issuing and redeeming the digital benefits.
What is the BOnusWelt?
The BOnusWelt is a customisable customer-loyalty and marketing tool for travel agencies. Together with regional partner businesses, a travel agency puts together benefits for its customers and makes them available through a digital benefits card.
Each travel agency decides for itself which partners take part, which customers receive the card and how its own benefits world presents itself. Services and validity periods are agreed with the partners.
In this way, the BOnusWelt connects travel advice with offers from the region – and keeps the travel agency present with its customers beyond the travel booking itself.

Your customers get access to selected partner services. These could be, for example, a discount when shopping, an extra with breakfast at a café or a reduced price for a leisure experience. Which offers apply before or after the trip depends on the agreed conditions.

New contacts with travel customers
Partner businesses can draw your customers’ attention to what they offer with a benefit of their own choosing. This creates additional touchpoints and opportunities for long-term cooperation in the region.
How does the BOnusWelt work with TTM?

Win partners and agree on services
You choose suitable regional businesses and agree with them on the benefits, redemption conditions and validity periods.

Manage digital benefits
Through your access to the Travel Token Marketplace, you set up partners and services. Individual benefits are represented as digital tokens and bundled in a digital benefits card.

Issue the benefits card to customers
Via the Travel Token Marketplace, your customers receive a personal QR code from the travel agency by email. It can be saved in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Alternatively, it can be printed out.

Redeem benefits at the partner
The customer shows their QR code. The partner scans it with their smartphone. TTM checks whether the service in question is valid and still available, and records the redemption.

Evaluate usage
You can see which benefits were issued and redeemed. This information helps you develop your partner offers and your BOnusWelt further.
BoTravel and TTM: travel agency practice meets digital implementation
BoTravel developed the BOnusWelt out of its own day-to-day practice as a travel agency. Other travel agencies can use the concept to build their own benefits world with suitable regional partners and services.
TTM provides the technical foundation. Choosing the partners, designing the offers and marketing their own BOnusWelt are up to each travel agency.
Frequently asked questions about the BOnusWelt
Can the BOnusWelt appear under my own travel agency’s name?
Yes. You can design your benefits world with your own name, your own logo and individually selected partners and services.
Do customers need an additional app?
No additional BOnusWelt app is needed to use it via Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Alternatively, customers can show their QR code to the partner as a printout.
Can benefits have different validity periods?
Yes. Individual conditions and validity periods can be agreed for each partner service – for example for the time before departure or after returning home.
Where can I find out more about participation and costs?
On the BoTravel website you will find information on participation and the next steps, as well as further answers about implementation. The conditions for creating and sending your own BOnusWelt via Travel Token Marketplace are currently €25 per month for the system and technical support, plus €2.50 for each BOnusWelt token issued per guest/booking.
The advantage is that the travel agency can also benefit from the wider range of offers in the Travel Token Marketplace.
